SHIPPING & DELIVERY

We ship WORLDWIDE using Royal Mail, DHL and USPS postal services. We can deliver to business or residential addresses. Enter your address as part of the checkout process to see estimated charges for your region.  We no longer ship to Nigeria or Dubai.  A signature is required for all  deliveries (except P.O. Boxes).  Please add sales@almocado.com and goodhairdays@almocado.com to your address book or check your junk mail folder for our email confirming your product has been shipped. The Couriers collect every Monday and Thursday.

ORDER PROCESSING & DESPATCH

ALL OUR PRODUCTS ARE HANDMADE. We aim to despatch all orders within 2 working days of receipt. We don't keep large quantities in stock so in some cases we may need to make your products before shipping - this can add an additional 7-14 business days to your despatch time. Products are normally manufactured at the beginning of each week. If you need your product urgently - please feel free to check in with us to confirm current availability and despatch times. 

Did we mention we make everything by hand? Kindly note, that , as a we are a very small company, there may be delays during busy periods. We are also at the mercy of market fluctuations so, external issues (global pandemics, military conflicts, civil unrest and even unfavourable weather patterns) can interrupt our supply chains and cause delays.  In the event of an unexpected delay, we will contact you.

All orders are processed and shipped according to their place in the queue or within 2 days from the date of manufacture if we need time to make some or all of the products in your order. Orders placed over the weekend, on a Bank holiday or Public holiday, or after 3pm on a weekday will be processed on the next available working day. The Couriers collect every Monday and Thursday.

INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESSES

This is really IMPORTANT: 

We are not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect postcodes or inaccurate addresses. If your postal address cannot be verified by Postcode Finder we will contact you and place your order on hold until you confirm the delivery address. 

If your item is returned due to an incorrect address, an additional shipping fee will be required in order to resend it to the correct address. 

Please also ensure you have entered the correct NAME e.g. [FIRST NAME] [LASTNAME] will be accepted. Shubz, Anna or HOME will be rejected. (We need your full name ).


PAYMENT

We accept online payments via Paypal, ApplePay and Stripe: these are industry-leading secure systems which accept all major Credit Cards and Debit Cards.  You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to complete your purchase, simply enter your credit card details and submit your payment. If you are resident in the UK, you may pay via Bank Transfer. Your order will be held until payment has been confirmed.
If you are having difficulties placing your order - please call us on 0203 644 3449 during working hours. Payments taken over the phone attract at 3.99% transaction fee.
 

* Domestic Shipping & Delivery (Uk Only) 

Packages will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked services ( Mon - Fri only). Packages are normally delivered between 8 am and 5 pm. A signature is normally required for all our deliveries - however, during the Covid19 crisis, you may not be required to sign due to social distancing regulations. Please use your business address for Express delivery orders if you know you will not be home during business hours. 

Tracked 48 UK Delivery is normally within 3 working days from date of despatch. The fastest way to receive your order is by Tracked 24 delivery - these orders are USUALLY delivered within one working day of despatch. If time is on your side, we recommend the No Rush option - these delivieries usually arrive within 3-5 business days. 

All Domestic Parcels are normally delivered within 3 days from the date of despatch. If you have not received your parcel within 14 days please let us know and we will initiate the claims process and arrange appropriate compensation or replacement.

Packages will be sent via Royal Mail Internation Tracked (within 14 days) or via UK MAIL Express Delivery (up to 7 Working days). Please contact us or leave a message in the comment section during checkout if you do not wish to sign for your delivery - e.g. if your postal address is a P.O.Box.  Express delivery is not available for P.O. Boxes.

Missing Parcels

If you think your parcel has gone missing either because an issue has been reported via your tracking link or the expected delivery time has passed (10 days for UK deliveries, 14 days for Europe, 25 days for Rest of the World) please contact us so we can call out the Search & Rescue Teams and/or initiate the claims process. Once the investigation is complete your order will either be reposted or refunded in full.

Please note: Royal Mail will not consider mail 'lost' until 25 business days from the date of despatch, we are unable to progress your claim before this time.

Damaged Parcels

Please contact us immediately with written details of the damage along with photographic evidence so we can begin the claims process. Please refer to the T&Cs for further details.
