SHIPPING & DELIVERY

We ship WORLDWIDE using Royal Mail, UPS and USPS postal services. ​​We can deliver to business or residential addresses. Enter your address as part of the checkout process to see estimated charges for your region.  We no longer ship to Nigeria or Dubai.  A signature is required for all  deliveries (except P.O. Boxes) Please add sales@almocado.com to your address book or check your junk mail folder for the email confirming your product has been shipped.

UK MAINLAND DELIVERY IS FREE ON ORDERS OVER £50

ORDER PROCESSING & DESPATCH

ALL OUR PRODUCTS ARE HANDMADE. We don't keep large quantities in stock so in some cases we may need to make your products before shipping - this can add an additional 2-7 business days to your despatch time. Products are normally manufactured at the beginning of each week. If you need your product urgently - please feel free to give us a call to check current availability and despatch times. 

The fastest way to receive your order is by Priority/Express/Faster delivery - these orders are USUALLY delivered within one working day of despatch.  Please note that while we navigate the changed working regulations due to the Covid19 pandemic , the Queue jumping option has been suspended so all orders are processed and shipped according to their place in the queue or within 2 days from the date of manufacture. Standard UK Delivery is normally within 3 days. "Fast " delivery is within 24 hours of despatch. 

Orders placed over the weekend, on a bank holiday or public holiday, or after 3pm on a weekday will be processed on the next available working day. Please note that the couriers collect every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 

The global pandemic has changed the way we work; in order to keep our staff safe and healthy, we've implemented a number of safety measures which regrettably have led to extended processing times. Next Day delivery has been suspended until further notice and COLLECT AT THE BOUTIQUE is no longer available.


Please note, that as we are a very small company, there may be delays during busy periods. In the event of an unexpected delay, we will contact you. 

IMPORTANT: We are not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect postcodes or inaccurate addresses. If the postal address cannot be verified we will contact you and place your order on hold until you confirm the delivery address.  If your item is returned due to an incorrect address, an additional shipping fee will be required in order to resend it to the correct address. 


PAYMENT

We accept online payments via Paypal, ApplePay and Stripe: these are industry-leading secure systems which accept all major Credit Cards and Debit Cards.  You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to complete your purchase, simply enter your credit card details and submit your payment. If you are resident in the UK,  you may pay via Bank Transfer. Your order will be held until payment has been confirmed.

If you are having difficulties placing your order - please call us on 0203 644 3449. Payments taken over the phone attract at 3.99% transaction fee.
 

* DOMESTIC SHIPPING & DELIVERY (UK ONLY) 

Packages will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked services ( Mon - Fri only). Packages are normally delivered between 8 am and 5 pm. A signature is normally required for all our deliveries - however, during the Covid19 crisis, you may not be required to sign due to social distancing regulations. Please use your business address for Express delivery orders if you know you will not be home during business hours.

All Domestic Parcels are normally delivered within 3 days from the date of despatch. If you have not received your parcel within 14 days please let us know and we will initiate the claims process and arrange appropriate compensation or replacement.

Your package will be taken to the local post office or left with a neighbour. If you do not collect or arrange redelivery within 2 weeks of the delivery attempt the parcel will be returned to us and your order will be refunded minus the shipping cost.  If your package cannot be left safe or with a neighbour, it will be taken to the local post office. If you do not collect or arrange redelivery within 2 weeks of the delivery attempt the parcel will be returned to us and your order will be refunded minus the shipping cost.

* INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Packages will be sent via Royal Mail Internation Tracked (within 14 days) or via UK MAIL Express Delivery (up to 7 Working days). Please contact us or leave a message in the comment section during checkout if you do not wish to sign for your delivery - e.g. if your postal address is a P.O.Box.  Express delivery is not available for P.O. Boxes.

For Express deliveries a valid contact telephone number is required. This is very important as we cannot ship without it.NB A signature is required for all our deliveries.

MISSING PARCELS

If you think your parcel has gone missing either because an issue has been reported via your tracking link or the expected delivery time has passed (10 days for UK deliveries, 14 days for Europe, 25 days for Rest of the World) please contact us so we can call out the Search & Rescue Teams and/or initiate the claims process. Once the investigation is complete your order will either be reposted or refunded in full

Please note: Royal Mail will not consider mail 'lost' until 25 business days from the date of despatch, we are unable to progress your claim before this time.

DAMAGED PARCELS

Please contact us immediately with written details of the damage along with photographic evidence so we can begin the claims process. Please refer to the T&Cs for further details.
