Avocado Moisture Masque (Deep Conditioning Treatment)

Intense Moisture Masque For Thirsty Curls

Thick, soft and fluffy - words that equally describe our deep conditioning creme AND your hair!

Introducing the The Avocado Hair Masque - a replenishing moisture mask for those who have been fans of our original Triple Whipped Intensive Castor Oil Conditioner - but prefer their conditioners to come in a jar instead of a bottle.

Like its older brother, this intensive moisture masque is triple whipped for fluffiness, with nourishing organic castor, alongside protein rich organic coconut oil; drizzled through with vitamin rich organic avocado oil and topped off with strengthening Pro-Vitamin B and fatty alcohols (yes, the good kind) to leave your hair detangled, defined, soft and moisturised: perfectly prepped for the next step in your styling regime.

The carefully selected combination of premium ingredients to aid detangling, reduce friction when combing/brushing and help keep hair soft and supple. Don't be fooled by its size, less is more with this product because a little goes a very long way, especially when applied to wet hair and smoothed into the ends.

Suitable for all hair textured hair types (processed or virgin).

No Parabens. No Silicones. No Sulphates

How To Use:

  • For Deep Conditioning:: After shampooing, rinse thoroughly. Section hair. Dispense product into your palms and distribute throughout each section - focusing on the ends.
Detangle hair with fingers or a wide tooth comb.
Cover with a cap or plastic wrap and allow to penetrate for up to 30 mins. Rinse well.

Aqua, Behentrimonium Methosulfate (and) Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Cetrimonium Chloride, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Guar Hydroxy Propyltrimonium Chloride, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Phenoxyethanol & Ethylhexylglycerin, DL-Panthenol,  Allergen Free Fragrance , Tocopherol

Question:
Can I use your conditioner and hair milk for my thick Locs. It needs a deep clean and it is dry Thanks
Asked by Marley
Answer:

Yes, you can use any of our handmade naturally loving conditioners on our locs. You may find that deep conditioning and a steam is enough to boost your moisture levels and so the hair milk is unnecessary.

However, you can use the Argan Hair Milk but make sure you apply it to the palms of your hands first and then massage it into your locs - this method works well for microlocs and Sisterlocks, so there's no reason to believe it won't work for thicker locs.

Question:
What is the shelf life of your avocado hair milk leave in?
Asked by Shannon
Answer:

All our conditioners, moisturisers and leave ins have a shelf life of at least 36 months

Question:
Hello, I am 3 years sisterlocksed and have soft loose curls. I have sealed ends at the back of my hair but the front although, sealed and straight curly. I have not had slippage for about 7 months. However, I would like to know if this product will have been suitable for me. Look forward to hearing from you.
Asked by Miss Mauyah Johnson
Answer:

If your ends are sealed and you're no longer experiencing slippage, you're more than welcome to start enjoying the occasional deep conditioning treatment to help reconstruct or replenish your Sisterlocks.

Question:
Hello What is the best product to use when i steam my hair? Regards Titi
Asked by Titilayo Akinjogbin
Answer:

For added moisture and softness - use the Avocado Moisture Masque but for a more stimulating treatment use the Herbal Hair Masque

Question:
Can you use a heat conditioning cap on the twisting butter if using it as a deep conditioner?
Asked by Sophie
Answer:

Hi, that's a great question - yes, you can but to be honest the Avocado Moisture Masque would be much much nicer as it has more slip.

All our conditioners can be used with steamers and conditioning caps where use with product allows.

Question:
Can you use the moisture mask as a leave in or hair butter?
Asked by Sophie
Answer:

Hi Sophie,

The Moisture Masque is a highly concentrated intense conditioning treatment so is not recommended for use as leave in or hair butter.

We'd suggest using the Avocado Hair Milk or Avocado Hair Silk as your leave-in conditioner and the CocoCurl Moisture Cream is a highly effective hair butter.

Thank you for your question.

left my hair so bouncy and softAnnette, I just used your intense moisture mask for the first time and it’s amazing. I hadn’t wash my hair for ages since it was in a silk press and it melted through my tangles and left my hair so bouncy and soft. I’m so happy with it. Well done for an amazing product.

Helps detangleWhen I made the switch to finger detangling, it would literally take me hours

Good resultsWhen I looked that sample container of this conditioning treatment I wasn’t convinced the same multiplication miracle would happen here, the conditioner was a nice surprise but the same thing wasn’t gonna happen. For Sure! This container was the size of one (just one!) regular scoop of product for me. Not enough to cover half of my hair. Well, I am happy to say I was completely proven wrong! The product was enough for my hair – no more and no less needed… just enough. Like the conditioner, it felt frothy or like it had air bubbles on it. You know… like when you whip a cake batter and it makes hair bubbles and becomes light… That’s how it felt. It wasn’t particularly moisturising, but then again I had never experienced this with a conditioner or deep conditioner. After 20-30 minutes under a hooded dryer and rinsed out with cold water my hair was soft, my curls clump together and my hair was shiny. I would say these were good results.

My hair felt amazing! But let me talk about the fabulous Intense Moisture Masque from @almocado. It’s soooooooooo full of goodness and left my hair soft yet fortified and ready for styling. It is packed with organic ingredients such as castor, coconut and avocado oils and having chatted with the owner I learnt more about how concentrated it is and that my heavy handedness is just not necessary! We had a good giggle about me slapping it on so don’t waste it - it glides through your hair and in 30 minutes without heat, my hair felt amazing!
